General election ballots are arriving in your mailbox this week. Hereʻs some important dates for you to remember as you prepare to vote in the most important election of our lives:

*In person voter centers open October 22, 2024. Here are the two locations on Hawaiʻi Island that welcome your in person votes:

Hilo: 101 Pauahi St. Suite 1 (County of Hawaii)

Kona: 74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Hwy (Civic Center)

Monday - Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm

November 5 (Election Day) 7:00am - 7:00pm

*Last day to register to vote by PAPER application October 28

*Last day to request absentee ballot (college students, this is y’all) October 29

*Absolute last day to vote IN PERSON at voting centers is November 5 at 7:00pm

*If you are voting by mail, check the postmark mail in due date. Anything after that date won’t reach in time and you’ll need to drop in a drop box or voter center.

*Educate yourself on candidates and current incumbents. Look over the bills they introduced or supported. You’ll be surprised at what you find 👀

Actions ALWAYS speak louder than words. Vote like your children’s lives depend on it. Because it DOES! No more excuses!
